Re: Times Square on New Year's Eve??
The club Show is in Times Square- I don't know if they offer anything.
Honestly- the best thing to do is to find a friend who works there. I work right in the heart of Times Square- almost under the ball. Last year I had some friends come to my office (we had to be on a list) and we watched the ball drop. It was great- we were in the middle of everything, but not in the crowds!!!

Nope... it was a hasslel getting through the crowds to get into the "exclusive" area for people with passes into the immediate area of Times Square. Since i'm 6 months pregnant- I don't want to be anywhere near those crowds. We are probably going to a Kareoke bar where a friend who is a party promoter is hosting a party.

Re: Times Square on New Year's Eve??
Get a job in bubba gumps for the nite! J/K I went 2 yrs ago and thats the last time i will ever go back. Its not even funny how crazy people act. I am also 5'4 and I felt like everyone towered over me and we were stuck to each other. I was getting sicker by the moment. There was so much chaos that nite with cops and people acting stupid. Maybe u can chip in with friends on a hotel room? Maybe the marriot marquis. (not sure what else)

I work at Tonic which is a bar in Times Square. But I won't be there for New Years (will be DJing somewhere else).
But yeah... if you know someone that works in the area... that is the hot thing to do.

Re: Times Square on New Year's Eve??
there are a couple of hotels on the strip in TS. A bunch of years back we all got a few rooms and at about 10 mins to the ball dropping we all went out ,saw it drop and then went back to party the rest of the night in our nice warm rooms!

did sort of the same thing once. I worked near TS a couple of years ago and hung out in my office where we could see everything. Tried standing in the crowds and gave up after half an hour. We were packed like sardines
