anyone witha forced air system/electric hot water heater? HELP

We keep the house at 63 overnight and when one of us goes for a shower in the AM, it seems the water just is NOT hot enough. DH loves a really hot shower. I find if I am home for the day and take a shower a little later in the AM....I do get warmer water.

The manual says it could be the incoming water is cold, so how can I remedy that?

I'm not sure if I feel comfortable setting the thermostats higher on the heater.

Word of advice.... take your showers BEFORE you turn up the heat.

I made the mistake of turning up the heat first and then jumped into the shower. Oh MAN was it cooooold.

we have forced hot air but with a gas system and on ours we have a small dial on the bottom of the water tank that lets us seperately adjust the temperature of the water from the rest of the house. So we keep the water in the water tank at the recommended warm level and it is fine anytime. We keep the heat at 65 at night but the water is seperate from that.

That's the problem....the water isn't hot ENOUGH for my husband.

Now I took my shower at 11 am today and it was fine for me!
