Hi ladies, did anyone buy those new 20 strip OPK test from Answer?
It comes with a cup, they seem cheapie to me than the other ones, these are just strips of paper, I hope they work the same. Last month same day I had a light surge line, this month nothing. so im worried now. I am going to keep using them, doing the same time everynight no fluids for 4 hours prior to test- which is sooooooo hard!
but if anyone has used them please shed some light, TIA.

My g/f is using them this month. She bought them off the internet, she says the surge line she gets is MUCH darker when its a positive and much easier to read.. Her postive was the other day, she told me this was the first brand she KNEW 100% the positive was a positive.. I guess she said some of the other brands she would sometimes be unsure because the line that should get dark was never dark enough.

ahhhhh, thank you. yea I got a light surge line last month same day, and not even a pinch of color on the test line this month same day. and she is right, it is hard to read, so I hope too this gives me an absolute positive surge! thanks for your response!!!

I didn't have much success with them. I wound up footing the bill for the CBE digital OPKs.

Re: Hi ladies, did anyone buy those new 20 strip OPK test from Answer?
I actually really like them. I have long semi-unpredictable cycles, so they help.
I usually start them on CD 11 and go a couple days past my surge.
To me it's always VERY clear when it's a surge versus a non-surge.
A couple things I've learned about them:
1. Make sure the "urine line" is in the middle of the green section - NOT above or below.
2. Wait until you see the "wetline" climbing up the strip before you remove it from the urine. It's usually 12 seconds for me instead of 10.
Sometimes if I have a lot left over and I get a surge, I'll do a second strip to make sure. It's always confirmed it.

I used them but found them very hard to read. I preferred the CBE Digital ones but they are very expensive.

1. where do you buy these??(20pk Answer)
2. how much are they??
I used my first OPK last night and there was a line and then a barely there line.....so does this mean I will get 2 lines tonight and then do it 24 hours after that??

I think they are awful. They detect very small amounts of LH and give tons of false positives.

Re: Hi ladies, did anyone buy those new 20 strip OPK test from Answer?
I started on cycle day 10 which was yesterday.
Leighla thank you soooooooo much for that info!!! Im wondering now did I do that right, lol.
Mama- I bought them at CVS last night and my Robitussin expectorant too,
so tonight at 8pm I will see if I get a surge line, you know if these are more accurate than the 7 day plastic ones then I dont know when I really got my surge, I guess I will see the difference this month. I should start temping now too, I know its late but its better than nothing I guess. oh yea and the price wasnt so bad 19.99 for 20 strips or 17.99 for 7 plastic ones, so I figured let me try the 20 strips since I go through the 7 like candy!

I bought them and found the test lines very faint. Plus my aim isn't that great for the cup!!!

Re: Hi ladies, did anyone buy those new 20 strip OPK test from Answer?
I just bought these also. I agree the whole cup thing is a pain, but like someone else mentioned on here, 20 strips for $19.99 I figured I'd give it a try. TTC is totally making my wallet slimmer.
Hoping this month will be our month!
