My baby just said "Ma Ma"...

So my DD is 6 1/2 mths and for a few weeks now she has been saying something like "ma nan ya" whenever she is upset....so today she was on the floor and I was walking towards the other room away from her when clear as day she said "Ma Ma"....it blew my mind as I was expecting her to say Da Da first and not for another month or so...

I hate that no one was here to witness it as they are all looking at me now like I made it upChat Icon

Anyone elses child say Ma Ma at this age?

Wonderboy Noah has been saying Mama since about that age, but currently he is very busy describing the theory or relativity to myself and his father.

Its amazing!!!

My 16.5 month old doesn't say Mama yet with intent, so at 6.5 months is very impressive.

Of course my daughter does pick her nose, so I guess she makes up for a lack of verbal advancement with her fine motor skills. Chat Icon

So are you saying that picking ones nose is a sign of genius! OMG, that makes me smarter than Stephen Hawking!!! And I don't have to talk in that annoying robot voice (although my husband says that really turns him on...)
