Cow Harbor Day
Did anyone go down to Cow Harbor Day? We were there with our boat at the dock all day. It was so nice out.

I miss Cow Harbor Day - I used to go every year when I was a kid - my step-father used to work at Jones'

The town of Northport used to be called Cow Harbor. So every year for the last 30+ years they have COw Harbor Day to celebrate the town's history. Its big, they close off Main Street, there is a really big parade...tons and tons of food...tons of different vendors in the park...tons of boats at the dock all decorated. Its a lot of fun.

Since I used to work EVERY Cow Harbor Day, I haven't been down there since. It's so different as a walker than as a worker. I remember marching in it as a kid. That was such a blast!!!

Oh yeah I loooved marching. I have the video tapes from my years marching and half time shows and Hofstra.
I want to go to Hofstra this year for the marching band festivle.

OHHHH, I LOOOOVED GOING TO HOFSTRA!!!!!!!!!! That was seriuosly one of the highlites of the fall!!!

OMG me too! It was a blast! I didnt go downtown today! I know its always packed and I was so tired!

It's basically a high school reunion for me every year. Dh and I ran the 10k the day before and I saw enough people-so we went out east instead.
