Teething and Vomiting
We have had another messy evening with Noah throwing up 4/5 times, this happened once before that it coincided with him getting his first toothlet popping through. Today, he has tooth #5 popping through, so this seems like more than a coincidence....
Has anyone had vomiting during teething? We have sailed through teething really with no pain at all, but this seems to be his teething thing.
BTW...the kid has got 5 teeth since July 31...isn't that a lot?? He is a superhero definitely!
eta...in between throwing up the kid is perfectly happy, smiling at the cats, laughing at daddy...I just don't understand the whole messy affair!!!

Aww, I hope Noah feels better soon. My son never vomitted due to teething but he does shove his fingers down his mouth and his throat and gags

We're teething right now. Pain, but no vomiting. We';re waiting for #5 & 6. DD is 8 months old.
Although she did try pastina yesterday and SPIT it out at me. Does that count?

Ugh, I can't find anything that says that teething causes vomiting on the internet, however my dad and another friend say that they vomit during teething because of the amount of saliva on their tummies during teething. He vomited 4/5 times and in between, was his normal lovely self..so I just don't get it. He woke up in the night hungry....
He is fine this morning, crawling all over the floor (or trying to) playing with his remote control, his maracas and just generally being very cute! Thanks for your help!

I've heard that saliva in the tummy causes diarreah (sorry for tmi). I guess it could also make Noah vomit.
I hope he's doing a little better and that teething goes quickly for all of you!
Just wanted to add - Whenever Emma has a cold - the thick mucus makes her spitup alot - I would almost catergorize it as vomit because it can sometimes be so much.
