Black tie Preferred (again)
Ok--so now I am second guessing my dress
I got a new red dress. It stops about 3 inches below my knee (im 5'11) and I was going to wear my nice black strappy sandals. Its a little low cut in the front, but nothing drastic. Can I wear this? I feel like I am suppose to wear a gown or something...

Id say yes. I have been to Black Tie (not preferred - just straight black tie) weddings where some guests looked as if they were wearing a minidress straight from the set of "Laugh-In" from the 60s with go-go boots. The dress you chose is lovely and appropriate. Enjoy wearing it and have a good time!

thats perfect - esp in red
the only people that get noticed at a balck tie-ish wedding are the ladies in pant suits and summer cotton sun dresses - or worse
youll look perfect in that hot little number!
