Hair Pulling and Slapping?
At 7 months this is normal right? If I say no, they really don't get it right? I just don't want a bratty kid, but I don't want to expect him to stop if this is normal, KWIM?

Justin does the same thing and head butts, slaps, pulls hair! I think he is going to wind up in prison! He has been doing it for a while and he turned one on Sunday.

It's normal, but that doesn't mean acceptable. You should still say "No!" and show them that you aren't happy by your facial expression. They generally headbutt & bite since they can't talk.

I think it is just a stage of exploration. I never said no at 7 months, I simply redirected my daughter to a more appropriate activity.
