Credit Card Question?
Is it against the law for your credit card comapny to call you home and speak with an auth. user and give specific information to them on what charges have been made??

I dont think so. If the person ISNT on the account I dont think they are allowed to talk but if they are I think they are fair game

I dont think so. As long as they are an authorized user and that person can verify some type of info on the account whether it be an account number or SSN number it's perfectly fine for the company to discuss charges with them.

This happens all the time with Citibank and I f'in HATE IT.
And if you don't talk to them when they want to call to question charges... or they can't contact you... they will eventually put a BLOCK on your credit card!
The shytty Citi "Fraud Monitoring" department called me AGAIN yesterday because I changed my address over the phone five days ago.
I guess to them... changing your address makes you a suspect of being exposed to identity thieft.
