awwwwwe what a gorgeous dog!!! that poor baby  quick question, would you be willing to adopt a dog your fostering? i'm always afraid I won't want to let any of them go!

i really DO want another dog but aprehensive to really commit myself to adopting one. i have a 6 yr old, VERY possisive (w/ me) lab and worried how he will react w/ another dog in the house. if all goes well, i will DEFINELTY adopt Chance, if not well then i will continue to foster.

When we brought Tally home, Casey seemed depressed for a few months.
Casey was more attached to me than DH and when Tally came over to me Casey would stick her head under my hand so I couldn't pet Tally!
Tally must have sensed this because she is more attached to DH. It worked out nicely but for a month or two we didn't get many doggy smiles. Now all is good although Casey still rules the squeaky toys.

so do i but he needs to be leashed. kinda hard to keep a dog leashed while all the others are having fun and playing. i'll have to see how it goes.

a few months?  my dog is pretty much indifferent when it comes to other dogs but since he is SO possessive he might have some issues. i am required to foster for 5 weeks.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you- it is so awesome that you are doing this. Casey looked sad but there has never been any aggression between them. Casey is greedy and very attached to me but never aggressive. She thinks all toys are hers and tries to hide them but if another dog takes one (even Miss Tally) she would never growl or be aggressive- just look baffled that its gone!
It might be just fine with both dogs but it will be an adjustment- but I'm sure there will be no major problems! Keep us posted.

He is absolutely beautiful! Good luck to you with the fostering and Chance getting along with your baby...It would be awesome if we could meet him at the GTG, but understood if you can't let him off leash.
