I fugured my mommy friends could help me...
My dishwasher stinks.
What do I do to get rid of the smell?
I clean her bottles in it, and her Nutramigen formula smells VILE, not sure if that's the cause, but good ole OCD clean freak/germophobe needs a remedy fast!
Thanks!!!Chat Icon

I know they sell a dishwasher cleaner. I dont know if it really works and I think Jet Dry makes it. I also noticed that when you open the door by the hindge part their sits wet dirt. I actually just found that out not to long ago and I wiped it down. I dont know if this work but what if you put baking soda in the detegent part and put a cycle on with no dishes.

white vinegar does the trick. my DH is an appliance repair guy he says thats the best thing to use. just pour it in to the bottom of the DW and just run a cycle.

I'm gonna try the white vinegar. How much do you use?

Also after the white vinegar wash is done leave the door open to dry really well, sometimes the machine never dries if it stays shut.
