I had the Breast Friend - I wouldnt' bother.
My Breast Friend:
*Breastfeeding
*Bottlefeeding
-has velcro which can wake up your baby as you go to take it off
Boppy Pillow:
*Breastfeeding
*Bottlefeeding
*no velcro
*can be used to prop for pictures - lay the *baby on his belly with his arms over the side
*can be used to help them to sit up.
*can be used to sit on postpartum (when your tush hurts)

I had a boppy and LOVED it... it was good for the middle of the night when my daughter was BFing when I was too tired to hold her up and it she liked to lay on it too.

I have My Breast friend and i really like it for BFing. It does not have velcro, it's like a snap thing, i find it to be more supportive around my back than the boppy.

If you do get this make sure to get the snaps. Finally getting your baby to sleep and having her wake up because of the velcro is

What would I do with out that boppy, I love it!! Its great for BF, or for her to sleep on (like a big pillow).

I had both, and used both. For me My Breast Friend was great in the beginning as it kept her in the right position. The boppy is better now for ease of use and comfort.

I'm not pregnant, but I speak from experience with my 5 month old neice.
My sister has this pillow for her and it is a lifesaver! It is more like a boppy, but the velcro holds them in. My niece can sit in this thing for hours!
