Anybody live in Holbrook and heard Helicopter last night?
It kept rounding my neighborhood with its flood light on. It must have went around for 1/2 hr.

OMG! My friend, I work with lives on the street where it happened, she said the helicopter was so loud it shook her house and she woke up to it. She was so freaked out about it because the cops were everywhere. They asked what happened but the cops wouldnt tell her.

What street does she live on? I am off of Furrows Rd and have no clue what was going on. I only heard 1 police car.

She lives on furrows in between coates an grundy. She said that they were shining spots in people backyards and there were like a swarm of cops in front of her house.

What time was this?? I live on Grundy...between Main and Furrows and we didnt hear a thing...but then again we had the a/c on and was exhusted so we slept very soundly.

Yes, the helicopter was flying around from 12-12:30. I am on Hiram Avenue.

I found out what happened...it seems the woman that lives up the block from me...in the court...might have left her door unlocked and when she got home, someone beat the crap out of her in her own home. I do not understand how this could happen..these people have the BIGGEST dog I have ever seen and her parents live downstairs from her and her husband. My next door neighbors son is a Suffolk cop inthe area and he is going to get the whole story for us. To me it sounds like it was someone she knows rather that just a randomw act of violence. STill, it very unsettleing to think about!!
