AF question (sorry if TMI)
AF came for a visit this afternoon, however it's a light flow (using a pantyliner) and its very brown with occasional mild cramping. My temps are low so I doubt it's implanation bleeding - but I never noticed my AF starting dark brown. Could that be a sign something is wrong?
TIA

Re: AF question (sorry if TMI)
There are times that a cycle ends like that. I wouldn't consider that CD1, just the end of the cycle. I would put spotting down ...since brown blood is considered old blood.
Spotting usually relates to the hormones shifting .

Yea.. put that as spotting so it doesnt start a new cycle for you until you actually start " flowing" Once you put either light, medium or heavy it will start you as CD1. Some brown spotting is not yet AF

Re: AF question (sorry if TMI)
Mine almost always start out that way, well actually always. It could be that your not ending your last cycle properly, and some books state it could be a problem. I mentioned it to my DR's and they said based on my hormone levels it doesnt indicate much, but you should mention it.
Like Redstar said, its really the end of your LAST cycle and shouldnt count as CD1.

Re: AF question (sorry if TMI)
I get very light brown spotting right before AF shows also. Do you get any other "signs" that it could be AF in addition to the spotting?
