What are the funnies voice messages left for you at work

I had one on Saturday I even forwarded to the manager because I couldnt stop laughing and though he'd get a laugh out of it.

I guess the guy was calling us and he got pulled over for speeding. The officer said to him "Hey buddy you're doing 40 in a 25 that is not cool. Did you know you were doing 40? 30 is ok 25 is better"

Then the call hung up.

I've also had a police officer leave a message that they were looking for someone who doesnt even work in our office. I called the officer back and he sounded like I just woke him up.

My favorite is the person who left us a message tha said "I want to travel. I dont know where, sometime between May 1 and September and to an island. So I want to travel so please call me back so we can get me somewhere"

I thought yea I got a few islands in mind

those are funny!!

i actually used to get messages on my phone in Spanis and the person would get really angry that the person they were trying to get wouldnt call them back!! It lasted for about a month....each mondya I would come in and there would be a few messages!! I guess the guy got tired of calling!!

I've had a few of those. Didnt know what to do with them and would just delete.

I once came in on Monday to a reallllly long voicemail - it sounded like someone was holding the phone up to the TV, and the Jets were on (and losing!) It was full of cursing and grunting...sooooo funny. I wanted to save it, but it took up too much memory.

Actually, the funniest voice mails are from my brother - he will leave hysterical messages, he usually pretends he's an irate parent, it's pretty funny!

He got me really good one time when I actually answered! I didn't realize it was him, but I knew the call sounded shady - but some of these parents are - lol - so I had to act serious until he said it was him!

My Dad!.... I don't get to see my Dad that often because he lives upstate, so we talk on the phone a couple of times a week. This one day he had me rolling! I get back from lunch and I'm checking the VMs and all of the sudden it's my Dad..."Ok, so you take the pork chops......" No hey, how are ya...just some recipe he must have had on his mind. What a riot!

Then...this other time he starts in about how a deer hit him....not he hit a deer...a deer hit him.

I always have to forward "Dad" messages to co-workers for a laugh.


OH! One hilarious message he left on our home answering machine which I cannot delete... He's all groggy saying he just woke up and he heard this noise...then you hear the noise...he walks over to the fish tank and it's making a horrible sound. He says (talking over the noise) that it doesn't look good...he doesn't think they'll make it...then he must not have been able to find the disconnect button on the phone because you hear "the noise" for several minutes!
