What kind of gift do give for an anniversary party?
I am up to my ears in gift giving lately! 
My SIL's ILs are having a combo 40th Anniversary celebration/surprise b-day party at a catering hall. It's black tie.
What do we give, money? I'm not sure what to give (or how much)...because they have money.

That isa so cute. ALso, a gift certificate for a restaurant is good. Or a gc for japanese hair straightening .

I got a music CD with songs from the year I was born. I will look for it to see who makes it, if you want. since I am 38, they must have one from 40 years ago
