Totally freaks me out... (CALLING ALL PUPPS MOMS)
I just read an article that says PUPPS may be linked to a potentially life threatening disease called sclderma (sp?)
Im planning on calling my PCP or maybe obgyn on Monday.... but since so many Dr.'s dont even know what PUPPS is... I doubt they are gonna be able to help me....
Anyone else hear of this connection, or know info on this disorder???

My old neighbor downstairs (Joanie) had scleroderma. I know she was very active in some of the groups. I don't know where she is these days but I would check out their support groups in addition to the PUPPs group you're in.
Joanie had no children at all - so would have never had PUPPs.

I had PUPPS as well, and never saw anything about complications beyond the discomfort during pregnancy. Where did you read that article?

Im apart of some Pupps group... and I read in on their forum....
I posted the msg. on my repost in NFR....
NOTHING has been proven yet... I guess its just a theory...
