We're moving TODAY!!!
Woo-hoo!!!! We are in our apartment in the city right now waiting for the movers to arrive. By the end of the day we'll be in our new house in Springfield, NJ. I am sooooooooooo excited and my little Joey (Yorkie) is very excited for his new backyard

Yay for you !! Are you ready to leave the NYC Life ?? DH and I are looking at houses now, I thought I'd never want to leave the city, but I'm over it - Especially walking to the 15th floor when the damn elevator is BROKEN !!
My little Yorike Lola is jealous of Joey's new backyard !!!
Did you have a hard time house hunting in NJ from NYC ?? DH and I are looking on LI, it's just such a PITA !!

At first I was torn about leaving the city, but I'm really over it. I am so sick of the crowds and the lack of space. We have just really grown out of our apartment.
We got REALLY lucky and went house hunting on only one weekend with a friend's mother who is a realtor. We found our dream house - it was the third house we looked at. DH handled the business side of things, so it was really not bad for us.
I think it's really important to search thoroughly on the internet to help you to narrow down your search. REALLY know what you want....if you don't like one thing about a house, don't even look....it will help you to narrow down your search to houses that really appeal to you. AT first, DH wanted to look at literally every house on the market....but I convinced him to look at the small handful that met all our criteria.
Sorry for the long-winded answer! You have a Yorkie? Lola is such a cute name! We are hoping to potty train Joey to go in our backyard, but he is so used to the wee wee pads that I don't know if it's going to work
