I have a little problem and I need some advice please...

The dr wants me to lose 10lbs before I start treatment, which could be any cycle I want now and I am having such a hard time sticking to any diet. Whether it be low carb, ww, or just watching everything on my own. I dont pig out everyday but I am good for 2-3 days then eat something or somethings I shouldn't.

I am heavier now than I have ever been and I know why I want to lose, any advice would be appreciated.

I dont know what to do.

Hi and Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon to you. It's not easy. I would try and join WW. It is a good program and you are guaranteed to lose weight if you stick to it. It's also a healthy way to lose weight and fairly easy to follow because you can eat anything. They also have WW online. Chat Icon Chat Icon Good luck

WW did it for me. I found going to the meetings and weighing in was my motivator.

Also, check out sparkpeople.com. (its free) It is a great way to tracking what you eat.

Good Luck!

I know exactly where you are, I have been trying forever to lose, I'll go down a few up a few, and now I am back to where I started. The emotional rollercoatser of IF makes dieting so hard, especially for those who eat when they are emotional.

I think finding a agood leader at WW and actually going to the meetings is very motivational.

My dr advised me of the same thing. It is hard because I'm such an eater when it comes to my emotions. I'm sad with the whole TTC thing and I just eat, eat, eat. Try to keep busy. I go for walks after dinner and I walk on my lunch hour too. WW is good it keeps you busy because your recording all your point and you have your meals kind of planned out for you already. It's hard I know.

I HATE DIETS!Chat Icon I wish you luck, its hard work. I joined ww with my cousin and that worked for me. We helped to keep each other on course and made bets with each other that made it less miserable, for example, who ever weighed in less one week would have to get the other's car washed, doggie sit , or host the next girl's night. A little rivalry keeps you focused and in the end hoefully everyone losing a little weight.
Listen no one is perfect. If you have a couple of good days and then slip up, your human. The very next morning you get up and try again. You can do it! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
