MIL Question
Do you think that your MIL is jealous of the relationship tht you have with your own mother???
Just wanting to know if this is common...

No, she hates me. I KNOW she's jealous of my hubby's relationship with my mom, though. But that's because he HAS a relationship with my mom. His mom sucks.

Oh yes!! And a lot has to do with the fact that she has two sons and always wanted a daughter. She is jealous of both mine and my BIL's wife's relationship with our mothers.

Yes! Yes! Yes! But I think she sees it as my mom gets to have a better relationship with my daughter becuase I am closer to my mom and trust her 100%. Whereas I am very guarded around ILs and watch all their moves concerning my daughter.

Yes, and she knows Julia sees my mom more too. She is always hinting to me that if I need her just call and she will come right over, but I dont feel as comfortable with her watching Julia yet.

I don't think she's jealous, but more envious. I think she wishes she had a better relationship with her son. They do have a good relationship but they aren't close like a mother & daughter. Thankfully she has a daughter of her own.

No she has her own daughter that she has a close relationship with. She and her daughter do everything together and me and my mom are not like that at all.
