Question about babies getting sick - Katie was up screaming all night
I think she has a cold. She had Coxsakie 2 wks ago. This is really similar as far as her raction and I wonder if its normal?
She's very congested and was up screaming all night (think I slept 3 hrs). She snots when she is screaming and go so upset she threw up and it was all mucasy...not real vomit. She doesn't have a fever.
is this normal? Is this what babies do when they have a cold? It's awful!!!

It sounds to me like she might have an ear infection. I'm not a doctor but I have four children, and from my experience when they were congested and and also up all night screaming that is what it was. If she continues I would call the doctor (it figures tomorrow is Sunday).

Thank you! She napped before and woke up screaming. She's down now (since 10pm) and hopefully will sleep a few hours before waking up crying. My poor baby. I can call the ped tomorrow and get who ever is on call but they always just say "go to the hospital" anyway.
