We saw The Wicker Man last night...
TERRIBLE. Laughable.
Parts that were supposed to be scary or dramatic made me laugh. Weird creepy story. Wait for the video - JMO.

Yeah we just saw it this afternoon - we didn't think it was terrible but we didn't care for it - and it dragged in the middle.
We saw the illusionist yesterday though and really liked it.

OMG the original Wicker Man is like one of the best films EVER. I always wonder why people bother doing remakes.
Did they show any scenes of naked bongo dancing like Britt Ekland did in he original?

No no bongo dancers I think they totally changed a lot of it. I will have to rent the original if you say it was good.

OMG the original is fantastic! Totally a classic! The cast is wonderful, the story is eerie, the acting is superb and the folklore in the film is brilliant!!! I say rent it! ASAP!
