Question about Nuchael test and my results
I got my results and its 1/4700 so she said i have a risk of that of a 20 year old so i am happy..
I know that risk is low but what is the lowest risk they will ever tell you like 1 in what?

Congrats, great news.
All I can tell you is how it was explained to me... if your result was 1/4,700 it means basically that if 4700 other women gave birth on the same day as you, 4699 of those babies would be fine and 1 may have some problems.

I scheduled an amnio because I was told my results were 1:5, five minutes before the procedure was to have taken place, an error was caught and my actual results were 1:50,000...I think that's pretty darn low!

First of all congratulations!!! My midwife told me the same exact thing, that my risk was that of a 20 year old and I am ALOT older than that I am not sure what the lowest is but we were pleased with the results
