My weekend trip was cancelled
I was supposed to go to NC to see my sister and my 2 year old nephew last night. I went early b/c of the hightened alert and then was delayed b/c of the weather. Then, it was cancelled. The only flight free this morning would have been at 6am to St. Louis to NC - 5 hours to get to NC! So, my trip is off! I was really looking forward to seeing them and to getting away b/c i just really need to:(. Oh well, I kept my vacation day and am going to go to brunch, read magazines, and watch the food network.
For those travelling, the security moved quickly - although I was at LGA, not an intl. airport I believe. But, I will say they took out my lipgloss, deoderant (I forgot when it melts its liquid) and my foundation so definitely check those things!
