Is it possible for a baby to sleep too much?
DD is 6 days old and seems to want to sleep all the time. She will sleep for 4 hours at a time. I have to wake her for feedings and she isn't all that interested at times. Is this normal?

So normal!!!! That's a newborn's job. And many of them sleep endlessly in the beginning. She may continue to do this for a month or 2. Everytime I worried about it, I was always told to enjoy it LOL
Congrats on your new baby.

Newborns do nothing but sleep! Just think of all that they've recently been through! The birth process is a lot of work!
It is perfectly normal!

Bella pretty much slept for four weeks after she came home from the hospital, she was barely up ever...almost all of the pics I have when she is that little are of her sleeping. now she naps 40 minutes a day
