Furniture?
I am starting to look for furniture for our new house. We basically need everything. Does anyone have any experiences with Fortunoff's or any other places they would recommend. We aren't looking to go high end, but I want good quality furniture.
TIA

Re: Furniture?
I've had good experiences with Macy's and Levitz. We bought our bedroom set from Levitz. We got a great deal and because I signed up for their credit card, we had 14 months no interest.

Re: Furniture?
I've also had good luck with Macy's. We seem to always get couches from them and it works out well. They also have 6-12 months interest free at times, just have to keep your eye out. Also if you charge $2000+ on your macy's card in a year (furniture could easily take care of that) you go into their President's Club. Free gift wrapping at the Holidays and free mailing of gifts and special deals. I know it's small, but it is really nice not wrapping gifts and they do it so nice. (Of course then you buy more from them to have wrapped )

Re: Furniture?
Hey you its Steph
We got our furniture through Culleys furniture on Central Ave. If you shop around and find what you want he could probably get it for you at a cheaper price. He has excellent furniture. My cousin also used him and she furnished her whole house at a cheap price. You may want to check him out.

Re: Furniture?
If your interested in Fortunoff, you can also try their clearance center. A friend of mine frequents it and has gotten some very good deals.

Re: Furniture?
We purchased some furniture at Comfort Galleries (on Route 110). We were happy with them. We also bought an armoire, a hutch and some bedroom furniture from Gothic Cabinet Craft (also on 110). We thought they were reasonably priced and the furniture came out exactly as we wanted it. Their furniture is unfinished and you decide how you want it. We had a distressed finish put on some pieces and it came out great!
