Re: Isabella's 3 months check-up
Aw, sounds like she's growing well! I would go with the advice of your doctor. I'm sure by this point her waking up IS a habit. Christopher was sleeping through the night at 1 month old. Give it a try and see how it works out for you. Good luck

Re: Isabella's 3 months check-up
Who is your dr? He sounds great...can you explain his method a little more? And why does my dr only do 2 mo and 4 mo shots - no 3 mo?

My doctor said that when she starts to fuss and wake up at 3 am to let her go 1-2 minutes before going in and soothing her...and then waiting 3-4 minutes before going in again. Doing this starting at 15 minutes before giving up and picking her up. I think it's like a graduated CIO (cry-it-out) method...he says she should be able to soothe herself back to sleep now and she should get used to doing it. She's a good sleeper now, so I hope this will be easy.
Definitely sounds like the Ferber or CIO method.
