Re: This has been posted a million times...

I got a BFN today too. Chat Icon But I'm pretty sure it's right because it's a decent test. Anyhow, from what I've been reading on the boards, different tests detect different levels of the pregnancy hormone, so it's possible the cheapie test wouldn't detect pregnancy since you haven't missed your period yet. If you go past when your due, it seems the be the consensus that a digital test is the way to go. Good luck and much babay dust to you!

TY for your advice. If I am late I will def. go out and get the digital, because, for me, thats the easiest to probably read.
Dont lose hope! Are you late? I dont know why I even tested this AM..Guess I was just curious.

Dawn, it's very common to get false negatives on a HPT especially if you are testing early.

Here's a link to www.fertilityfriend.com's study on HPTs.

I forgot to add...Lots of baby dust to you both!

www.peeonastick.com will tell you which tests are the most sensitive.

I used First Response Early Detection and got my BFP one day before AF was due.

BABY DUST to you.

Oh and FYI the digital tests usually need more hormone if I remember correctly but I took one the same day as my early test and got the pregnant readout. Chat Icon

Dawn, I'm due today for AF. I feel slightly crampy, but I'm not quite sure. If I don't get AF either today or tomorrow I will take a digital test. But after 2 BFN, I don't really have any hope left for this month.

Dont lose hope! Im due today as well. Run to the bathroom, thinking she's here, and there is nothing! Ive been crampy though, sore bbs, and so tired. I dont want to get my hopes up, but, in some respect, do want to!
Are you going through this too..You think she's here, then, nothing?

I'm in the same boat. AF was due today, but still nothing. If she doesn't rear her ugly head tomorrow then I will try to test again, probably Wednesday morning.
