his MIL.

he would say she is smart, a great grandma and has helped us a lot.

he woudl say that she is a wonderful, loving and supportive person...

but is also a person who whens he says she will be there at 11:00.....shows up at 10:30.

He would say she's a great cook, extremely helpful with our family and with his family BUT that she can be a pain in the *** because she's way too involved in her daughters' lives.

He would say shes sweet, easy to get along with, funny, BUT that she needs to let go of the past.... (nothing that involves him, but something she dwells on...)

He would say she is a wonderful woman who gave us so much love, support, comfort and generosity this past year. I know he loves her but may say she talks to much. Oh wait, I'm the one who says that

He would say that she is evil, selfish and controlling.. they both do not get along and mutually dislike each other. I wish it were different and it makes me very sad to even think about it.

2. she is kind, loving and ALWAYS there for anyone who needs anything
3. she is slightly crazy, in a good way, and passionate about her family.

DH would say my mom is generous, loving and supportive and completely anal about punctuality.

Sadly, My DH would say he missed how she used to be before she was sick. She has been battling severe depression and borderline personality disorder for the past 4 years. She is in and out of the hospital and psych wards all the time. There is so much more to this story, but my mom is really a different person now. It is heartbreaking to see someone you love slip away like this. This situation has been so difficult for us because my mom and DH were close before all this happened.
DH would say that before she was sick she was:
1- caring and loving - would give you the shirt off her back.
2-always wanted the best for us
3- would have been an awesome grandma to our soon to be born

DH calls my mom 'puppet master' b/c he's always felt she was very controlling. I see it as I'm her youngest and only daughter so there's a strong bond there.

He jokes with me about, but I actually think he likes her...
