Folic Acid...
My gyn. just told me that centrum multi-vitamins have all the folic acid you need when ttc. I've been reading on here that a lot of you are taking folic acid supplements - is this better than the centrum?
i should add that i am not ttc now but am thinking of doing so in the next year and want my body to be ready and healthy
thanks in advance and good luck to all you that are trying now

Re: Folic Acid...
i'm just taking the CVS brand pre-natals. I'm pretty sure you need 800 mg of folic acid, so if the vitamin doesn't have that you can take a supplement.
Also some women take Flintstone chewables because they are easier to digest than other vitamins

Re: Folic Acid...
I take GNC mega vitamins for women which have 400mg folic acid. My dr said this was enough while TTC but when I get PG I should up the dose to 800 mg. So I just take my mega vitamin plus 400mg folic acid
