Re: Need advice for how to handle a situation tomorrow morning
If it were me, I'd ignore her, nor would I feel one iota of guilt about leaving her behind. If she tried to start drama about it, I would just say "I'm sorry you missed the car. Next time be on time. "
Good luck!
eta. The longer you make the explanation (ie, I tried to call you, we waited for you, I wasn't driving, etc makes you sound guilty. Bottom line is this was her fault, not yours.

good point but IMO silence means guilt as well...
i dont' think i could just say nothing... I would walk right up to her and say how i felt.

Oh, I would never advocate silence when confronted. I say just state the facts without offering explanations. I wouldn't bother confronting her unless she went first.

Re: MINI UPDATE at top: Need advice for how to handle a situation tomorrow morning
All your stress for nothing! I'll bet she calls out for a few days & sneaks her snarky comments in when you least expect it.

How old is this person?? This sounds like 8th grade or something -- if you are late, you miss the boat, tough luck on you. Deal.

If she says anything to you...I would tell her that unless she wants to pay you as her keeper, you are not going to make sure she is on time for business functions nor are you going to stop everything for her and wait. Being that she is an adult, she is quite capable to keeping her own time and getting to where she needs to be on her own.
