Moms who breastfed....
Besides nursing bras...Should I get some nursing tanks and tee shirts or just make due with the stuff I have. Does the nursingwear make breastfeeding easier?
Thanks!

Never wore any of that. It was too confusing to unsnap - unhook - undo and get it all back together.

Same here. Tried a nursing bra, hated it. Just used regular bras and pretty much went braless unless I had company or was leaving the house.

I do/did the same, except when i go out i put on a nursing bra since i don't fit into Any of my reg bras and right now i refuse to spend $$$ on new ones until my boob size remains at a constant.
Since it's summer i do wear alot of the regular tanks with bra support from express.

Re: Moms who breastfed....
i wouldn't bother with the clothes, but for me nursing bras are a necessity. and i can never go braless. for some reason if i have a bra on i don't leak, but if i take it off even at night i always leak.

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I have several nursing bras... They are very comfy! I didn't bother with nursing clothes... I got a bunch of tank tops from Old Navy and also I bought a bunch of button down night gowns for night nursing and or lounging.

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I only wear the nursing bras. For clothes, I did buy some, but I don't like them and I dont wear them. IMO they are $$, and not at all flattering.

I actually was a big fan of sports bras while I was nursing... (but it was a little bit of a pain to get those bad boys out while it was time to feed....

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I love, love, love glamourmom's nursing tanks. I've worn them nearly every day for 16 months. It turns your whole regular wardrobe into nursing clothes.. wear whichever one best coordinates with your outfit and you can just lift your shirt to nurse without your belly hanging out for all to see. The openings are small as well, so just enough for the baby to latch is exposed.

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I didn't really like my nursing bra. Never got the tanks or anything like that, however I've been LIVING in my sports bras for the past 11months!

Those shirts look soo comfy! I just wish I could spend the 40 bucks for one of them without feeling soo guilty!

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I really like the nursing tanks (I got them from Motherhood for a lot less than $40). If I'm not wearing one of those, I'm in a regular tank top w/ built in support.

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I have nursing bras because my reg bras don't fit. I also bought 2 nursing tanks. I was having leaking issues at night if she went a little longer than normal without eating. I always have to wear bra pads and the tanks alowed me to get some relief from wearing a bra 24-7.

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I would say nursing bras are a must and the rest is optional. I always wear a nursing bra. They make a special one for sleeping that I got from Motherhood thats comfortable. I would also say I couldn't live without the disposable nursing pads as well.
I have a few nursing tops that I only need when I think I'll have to nurse in public. They are nice to have b/c then you don't have to reveal as much

Re: Moms who breastfed....
I never wore them- i bought a lot of bra tops from Express. But if you are going to breastfeed in publicl a lot those Boob shirts are very discreet.
