Any teachers going to Lobby Day?
I am the only one from my school going. Should I prepare questions?

It's this Tuesday. Teachers go up to Albany and are supposed to talk to Legislators about the school system. There is also a Parent Lobby Day. I guess on Lobby Day, we lobby for education!

I think my co-teacher is going. She's just excited to have a day out of the building that she can get paid for.

DH is going to Albany on Tuesday for Library Legislation Day.

I wish I were going.
I would suggest mentioning:
1- class size legislation, especially for NYC (classsizematters.org is a good site for stats, etc.)
2. when is NYC going to get its share of the CFE money? It's ridiculous, really. Pataki will never, ever get my vote because of his attitude towards fair funding for NYC schools.
