Anyone else go pumpkin picking?
We went yesturday to Lewins (no real traffic)and did the P.O.P. $20 for all you can carry in the large bag. We got 3 great LARGE ones, and 6 smaller ones. By poor honey, did such a great job walking them back the good 1/4 mile we walked out in the field getting them. This weekend we are going to make a night out of it and carve them.

we are going there this weekend. We are going to buy or borrow a wagon, because I wont be able to help DH lift the bag this year.

100% do it.....You could tell we were rookies and did not knw to bring one. I tried to help best I could and support the bottom of the bag as it was on his back.

every year we say that we are going to bring a wagon, because I help him carry the bag and it is still heavy.
But now that Im PG. I cant help him lift it.

I had not been there in about 9 years, so I fogot how heavy they get. (Back then it was me and a girl friend who carried it all the way back). the poor guys....someone even made the comment "sure the pumpkins are cheap,,it's the physical therapy afterwards that cost the money!)
Someone even offered money for them. My boyfriend was like, no way, these are priceless at this point. He is so cute, cause I think he got more excited than me about them (it's out first halloween)
