I got a whole set of children's videos from there that was awesome - alot of Disney stuff (which would have cost a fortune Chat Icon ).

Anyone else?

It's a website where people post stuff that they are giving away for free. People also post stuff that they are looking for.

So you don't have to have something to trade with the person to get the stuff? Just pick it up? Good deal!

Nope!! But it's like first come, first serve. You can get the email and in like two seconds, the item has been promised to someone else. Totally free!

I've never used it, but I'm thinking of freecycling FH's dining room table.

My cousin does this -- she gets tons of stuff for the kids, and gets rid of tons too. She says she just leaves the "stuff" on her front stoop, she loves it.

I have only gotten books. All the good stuff I wanted was already promised by the time I emailed the person.

Here's something we are doing that may fit here. We are completing the state's paperwork to form a not for profit company called Bridal Planner Charities, Inc. The website (not live yet) will be WeGotInvolved.org. You will be able to donate certain types of items to the organization and receive a tax write off (better than giving it away Chat Icon). In return the items will be sold with the proceeds going to various charities.

I think that's a great idea! I know I would have bought extra wedding stuff for charity!
