I don't know if should be happy or cry!
I believe my AF is finally coming to visit!
My LIGHT brown flow has just gotten heavier (sorry if TMI).
I guess I'm happy cause at least now I know for sure(cause i really was hoping to be prego)...but this also means another month added the the TTC list!
Now I have a new question...what do i consider my first AF day? Today right?

Re: I don't know if should be happy or cry!
I know how you feel...last month was my first month TTC, and at first I was depressed because I kept getting a BFN, but no period...then when I finally got my period I was happy, I guess I was worried that I may need meds to induce menstruation since the PCOS thing.
My MD told me that the if you have light "staining" before your period, and then you get your period, count that staining as day one and so on.

Re: I don't know if should be happy or cry!
I go through the SAME thing every month. I never know what it is until I get my heavy flow! Yes, the first day of spotting is considered Day 1 of AF. At least that's what I was told at my GYN.

Sorry to say, I am sure your ob/gyns are wonderful. However, the first day of AF is not 'spotting". The first day of AF is full flow blood.
Spotting/staining,.....is actually not your lining that's shedding. Spotting has to do with hormonal change. Full flow blood, is the uterine lining shedding and that's DAY1.
Unfortunately, ob/gyns do not know very much about the endocrine system. Endocrinology=hormones.

Interesting...the person who told me this was an endocronologist.

Re: I don't know if should be happy or cry!
No, I am not...in the healthcare industry. In fact, I am not very comfortable around illness or people who struggle with their health.
I am just a person who wishes conceiving and having a healthy pregnancy/baby was a choice.
You can decide to get married, you can decide to buy a house or a car etc. Sometimes those decisions can't happen over night, but you can definitely choose steps to make them occur.
Being a mother has been my dream since I was a very young girl, playing with my first doll. I always thought that every girl or boy who wanted that, should grow up and be able to. I never knew much about 'fertility', until about a year ago, when I realized, that becoming a parent, is not a choice...but a journey.
People ask, "when are you going to have a baby", "I guess when you want a baby, you will make a baby" .....How can I even answer these people ????
Unfortunately, for so many people this is not the case. We play a role in this miracle, but God, holds the rest in hands. I am just working hard in assisting God with the miracle I want so badly for myself and for others.
I decided, that in order to get something done, you need tools...aka knowledge. I research a lot, and speak to a lot of people to aquire knowledge. I feel that knowledge should be shared, just a like a hammer. If you have a hammer, and your neighbor needs one, why not let them use it.
Hopefully the journey will shorten and there will be a baby in the arms of all the mothers and fathers who desire such a blessing.
