Calling all Deer Park experts!
We saw a great house on E. 4th steet just North of Deer park ave, right off of Oakland ave but I'm not familiar w/the area. Any honest opinions would be appreciated!

We looked at new construction on East 4th St and although the house was beautiful, we decided against it. A couple of things for us...we both work in the city, it wasn't exactly where we wanted to be, and when we drove by the train station in the middle of the day some guy was on the corner trying to sell gold chains inside his jacket  DH wasn't going for it after that one. But other than that, it's a nice neighborhood. Both my grandmother and one of my aunts live right over there and they love it.
