Ebay sellers

what would you do?
I get the following email this morning from a buyer that's not happy with what I sold her....

I purchased your Biosilk and used it 2 times. It is not the same as what I have left over. It doesn't smell the same. It doesn't feel the same. And, it doesn't work the same on my hair. I don't know who your distributor is but it is not 100% Biosilk. I want to return it for a full refund and if I can't I will inform eBay of this problem. I have bought this twice already off of eBay and have not had a problem until now.
I will wait for your reply. Thanks

**I've sold a few of these. I've used the same stuff myself and it's the real thing. I have over 400+ feedback. never had this problem before- would you just go ahead and refund? If not, will ebay just go ahead and refund her? not quite sure how that worksChat Icon

Re: Ebay sellers

That sounds like a ploy to get their money back. Chat Icon I would stand firm and refuse to refund. How did she paid thru a CC, she may just go ahead and try to do a chargeback, though.

Re: Ebay sellers

she paid through paypal.
I really don't want to be bothered with any bs from paypla/ebayChat Icon . Maybe I should just tell her to send it back and I'll refund(it was $20). I really don't want the stuff back now that it's used but I guess if she wants the refund....
seems there's a 'bump in the road' every now and then with ebayChat Icon

I would add her to your blocked bidder list to avoid hassles in the future.

Re: Ebay sellers

Tell her to ship the product back to you in its original condition with everything that you shipped to her and then you will give her the money back, do not give her a refund until you get the product back from her. I have had this happen to me in the past, and I have refunded money. It is the job of being a seller on ebay

It sounds like the other products she used were fake, and yours was real.... definitely seems shady to me. But I would refund the money, to not go thru the hassle.

Re: Ebay sellers

No shipping....She loses the shipping cost, and she also needs to pay for shipping the item back to you

thanks Scott. that's what I was thinkingChat Icon

BTW.....don't you sell books on ebay, etc? I have a bunch of hardcover books to get rid of (stephen king, michael creighton...). Is it worth trying to sell them or should I just donate? I have alot of college books too that I'm looking to get rid of.
