When I drove down I made to the FL border in about 30 hours (with a small stop for sleep). I would not personally take a trip like this in my 31 week of pregnancy.

I know. I think driving would be better than flying. We would make some stops. Maybe I can talk Him into waiting until after the baby is born. We are going to see his dad...or maybe just send him alone.

it's alot of sitting for you! I would only do it if your driver will stop every 2 hours so you can stretch you legs, drink some water, and pee. You need to watch out for swelling, clots in your legs when sitting for 26 hour ride down there.
I would fly personally.

Re: how uncomfortable do you think i would be if we drive to Florida?
I would think very uncomfortable. We tossed around the idea of making a 9 hr road trip to see my Mom and I just dont think I could do it.
ETA: My dr doesnt want me flying once I reach my 3rd trimester, so flying is out for me completely. I agree - regardless of how you get there its important to stretch your legs every 2 hrs.

Re: how uncomfortable do you think i would be if we drive to Florida?
We drove down in my 20th week. I was fine we stopped anytime I had to go to the bathroom, sometimes it was up to 4 hours, we stayed overnight and then drove some more in the morning. I did not think it was that bad at all. I had my pillow and my blankie for when I needed to nap, which I never did.
