Would you tell a job on an interview days you need off?

In September I would need 2 days off because my mom will be watching my son and she is going away.

Should I tell them after I get the job or on the interview?

After you get the job. I would say that it just came up, not something that had been planned. Good luck!

Re: Would you tell a job on an interview days you need off?

This recently came up with a job I was offered. I waited until they offered me the job and mentioned before accepting it. I needed 8 days off 5 days after starting, 2 days should be nothing, but I would not mention during interview.

Wait til after they make you an offer. Accept with the conditions that you need to take those days off. If they wont agree to those terms, then maybe that's good insight to how they will be once you work for them full time. Also, if you go in making demands on an interview, that might turn them off and you might lose the offer.

After-- just let them know that you have sime time off planned- and there is nothing you can do to change it.

I just started a new job on May 30th and I am going away for a week at the end of July-- you are allowed to have a life and plans!!

After you get the job...when I started my job, I told my manager on the first day (MOnday) that I needed a half of a day on that thursday for my closing...it was no biggie, I just made up the time Chat Icon
