1st bday - invitation opinions please
I cannot believe it - but I am getting ready to make the invitations for Talia's 1st bday party 
So I am looking for some opinions please.
We are throwing her a Luau - so I have basically decided on simple invitations like these which are really cheap and I would have to fill out myself:
Or something more creative (which I always opt for - but I guess in this situation I want to make sure it is still fun even though it's not theme related). I would use a pic like this one maybe:
and the invitation would read something like...
"Let your Hair Down and party...celebrate Talia's First Birthday....yadi yadi yadi...
Any thoughts on these ideas...or any other ideas you may have would be great...
Maybe I can take a pic of her with her hair crazy with a hawaiin outfit or something to tie in the theme??

I love the "let your hair down" theme. I would take a pic of her in hawaiian getup. When you're ready to do the invite, you could have the wording written on her grass skirt (if you have one).
Very cute idea!!!!

jen, i love love love the second idea!! sooo cute! talia looks great and it would be adorable for her "look" to complement the theme. Can you believe their 1st bday is coming up? where did the time go?
