we are, way less than that actually.
we only have one income, since I'm home with my daughter.
We haven't finished school so I know that's one of the main reasons why we can't find better jobs.
btw, i don't live in long island. we live in an outside borough of nyc.

Yes and we both hold college degrees and my husband working on his masters, is an Engineer and has a commerical pilot rating. He is an officer in the USAF and I'm a SAHM. We live in Florida and prior to this lived in Texas and we both have paid off our student loans ourselves, both have new cars and built a brand new home in 2004.
We have very little debt so we are doing well :)

yes...us. DH makes $29,000 and I make just under $10,000 at my little job.

We have a mortgage, one car payment, and one loan for our tv and various monthly bills, NO CREDIT CARDS.

We have been until now. DH makes less than $50,000, and I have not been working until I started my internship a week and a half ago. My internship salary, which is minimal, puts us just above $60,000 gross income. We have previous savings though, so we're doing okay while we try to watch our spending.
