Any pics of Tiny 1/2 bathrooms?

We want to put a small 1/2 bath in our basement and need ideas for how to make it work, like what positions for the door and sink and toilet bowl that uses minimal space but is still comforable to use.
Please share pics if you have any!

Re: Any pics of Tiny 1/2 bathrooms?

no pics - but my uncle (who was a plumber) made a half bath out of a tiny closet -

the door is a sliding door-

it has a toilet, and the sink is very small - it resembles a pedestal sink without the bottom part - its in the corner attached to the wall.

is probably the smallest bathroom ever -but it works!! i'll see if i can get u a pic

Six feet is a nice length- you should have no problem. Here is ours- not sure the dimensions but it's not very big (and BADLY in need of a re-do, but we need to do the full bath first.

When we do this one, we'll put in a pedestal sink. That might be a good option for you too. They might not be significantly smaller than a vanity but they open up a room a little more, imo.

My half bathroom (off the den) is 3 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet.

I feel like I need to post a max height and weight requirement on the doorChat Icon

It was a challenge to try to find a vanity that didn't look completely oversized. Just when we thought we might have to custom orderChat Icon Chat Icon we found one at Home Depot that was only 18" long. It's in oak (not my favorite) but it was $89. for the entire vanity and top.

It's hard to get an idea from the pics because it's so tiny. Each floor tile is 1' X 1'

If you could mount the sink to the wall - that will save you a lot of space....

Wow! If you can do it in 3.5x3.5 I think we will be fine with 3x6 or 4x5!

we're also going to do a bathroom in our basement. We are thinking of adding a stand up only shower in there too. It's going to be pretty small. not sure of the measurements though.

This is the 1/2 bath in the place I am buying.

I'm not sure of the dimesnions--there is no vanity though, which doesn't bother me, since right now I have just a pedestal sink in my 1 & only bathroom.

That sounds like just about the size of my 1/2 bath.

Re: Any pics of Tiny 1/2 bathrooms?

my mom has a tiny half bath. It's probably 3x6 or less.

the door is in the middle of the space (it opens out) when you look to the left there is a small vanity and to the right is the toilet.
