is/was your child playing with.
Miranda isn't crawling or cruising yet but she does stand up.
We put her Leap Frog learning table together but I would like to get her some new toys that she would be interested in.
Going through her toy box I realize almost all she has is stuffed animals/toys.
She has these giant lego type things that she likes to play with. Are there any good legos for babies?

Fisher Price makes these blocks that are clear and have different objects in them -- Emily does like to knock them down when I stack them up.

I am always obsessing over toys for different age groups too but what I've found is that at this age Emily is liking pots & pans, bowls/cups/wooden spoons/lids, boxes and books more then lots of other toys. I actually find her flipping through books and trying to pull the pictures off of the pages....

She is enjoying her play wall quite a bit and we did get her a car that is a walker and later acts as a ride-on toy and she loves that becaused there ae lots of buttons, but she doesn't "walk" on it yet.

Also Maracas, anything to "drum" on....

I have a bunch of peek a blocks, are those the same? She doesn't seem to into those.
I am going to get her a kitchen and accessories for her birthday because she played with someone else's and loved it but that's still 2 months away. Maybe we'll have to get it early Chat Icon

Alex loves blocks and balls. If I kick a ball to her she'll throw it back to me and we could literally do that all day Chat Icon We also have this wall-thingamajig that plays music that she can stand up against. She seems to like that as well. And her favorite? A bag of pretzels Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Talia has a milion toys - and her fav. one is an empty poland spring bottle that I put some rocks in for her. It has an easy grip handle and makes lots of noise haha. (her second fav. toy is a red solo cup - go figure!)

They have these fabulous "sorting boxes" at Lakeshore Learning (and in the Lakeshore catalog). There are four boxes, in four colors. Each box has 4 items that match the box color. They're hard to describe, but I bought them for my niece's first birthday, and I got them for DD when she was 11 months or so. Both still LOVE them (at 2 and 1/2 and 17 months).
