I know...wedding related but...
A very dear friend of mine just got engaged! She & her FI are having their block party tomorrow, and I want to bring them a gift. They already live togerther & have been for over a year. What can I bring?

Champagne, if they drink.
I had a party that was already planned & ended up beinga week after we got engagaed, so a few people brought champagne & it sort of turned into an impromptu engagment party, which I loved.

This is what i was thinking, but I was afradi that it would look like I tried to turn it....... but I think this is what I will go with.
Now for wedding planning #3 (as I am already helping my sister plan her 2008 wedding). I really should have become a wedding planner.
ETA: I love the red envelope stuff & I'll probably send something like that too, but I really wanted to go tomorrow with something.

Someone gave me a Waterford ring dish, in the shape of a heart. I love it and both DH and I put our rings in it when we go to bed at night.
I think it runs about $50 at Fortunoff.

The BEST gifts i got were GCs. I cant tell you how much they come in handy. BBB or Crate and Barrel or Target or Fortunoffs. Even though they live together, there will ALWAYS be things they want/need

Add a bottle of wine and some wine stoppers or wine charms.
Oh, i always give weddingish photo albums to newley engaged girls bc they came in SOOO handy for me. You get so many pics from the wedding from otehr people, plus shower pics, rehearsal pics, eng party pics, bach party pics etc etc etc
