Listen to this story - you have no idea
So my cousin's dog got lost last Sunday night (the night of the big rainstorm)
She was looking ALL over for him for the past ten days. Put up fliers - and NOTHING. My cousin brought her to an animal shelter to get her and their son another dog. They got one this weekend.
Today is her birthday - she gets a phone call that this man saw her dog across town. He went back to the Key Food he saw the flier at to get her number - he called her and took her back to where he saw Rocko. They just went and got him and brought him home. I am so happy for her. This has to be the best birthday gift ever.
Now her son has two pups!!!

i personally would be way too devastated to get another pup....
but im sooo happy they found the dog. thats so great. im sure the reuinion was sweet.

but im sooo happy they found the dog. thats so great. im sure the reuinion was sweet.
They were devastated and they got the new puppy for their two year old son who was missing the other dog so badly.

I can understand how they would have to replace the lost puppy. Kids don't deal with things like adults do. When I mentioned to my niece that I was getting a cat, I had to get it that day! It's great that they are able to keep both puppies

I know - I'm so happy too. It's hard to explain to a two year old that you no longer have a puppy when all he knows is having one around. I think it was meant to be that they found him on her birthday also!!!

He was!! He was shaken up at first. The man who found him said he was eating out of the garbage. 
He came home and became friends with the new puppy too!!!
Such a happy ending.
