Need ideas for a craft for 4-6 yr old, Spiderman themed..

I'm trying to come up with an idea for Jordans bday party... 4-6yr olds, Spiderman or superhero themed...

Already checked Birthday Express and Birthday Party Ideas, and nothing jumped out....

I dont know about crafts but I am going to Party City today where I heard a rumor that things are 50% off. WAnt me to get anything for it?

Superhero = masks. Have them make their own masks & secret identities.

Oriental trading often has craft kits. This is their Spiderman Stuff I saw tatoos, a pinata and a pin the tail on the donkey type game.

I'll keep looking for craft kits..... They have some stuff here: OT Craft Kits but I didn't see anything superhero-ish

PARTY GAMES & ACTIVITIES

Stick the Spider On Spiderman Game
This game is played just like Pin the Tail on the Donkey
With a sheet of poster board and a permanent black marker, draw a spider web. Make small paper spiders with construction paper or use plastic spiders. Use glue dots (craft store) or double stick tape to attach the spiders to the web.

Web Walk
Just like a cake walk with webs!
Cut circles from poster board. Use a permanent marker to draw spider webs. In the center if each circle write a number.Place the webs in a circle. Play Spiderman theme music (or any fun music) and have the children step from web to web. When the music stops draw one of the numbers from a bag -- >the player on that number gets a sticker or candy.
When the children are younger, you'll want to have each child win every time.
I make baggies with corresponding numbers to the webs.
Example: Bag# 1 has stickers
#2 - jolly Ranchers #3 - pencils etc.....
Then the children will receive a variety of prizes.
Play this game several times.

Peter Parker's Mad Science lab
This will vary with your tolerance for mess --
Provide kitchen science items and plastic containers
for the kids to mix and explore.
Items could be -- baking soda, vinegar, food color, oil, cornstarch etc.
Or you could use a recipe for "Goop" or "Flubber"
Goop
1 cup of corn starch
1/4 to 1/3 cup of water
paper cups

Flubber
1 1/2 C. Warm Water
2 c. Elmers Glue & Food Coloring Solution
4 tsp. Borax
1 1/3 C. Warm water Mix
Mix the first two ingredients then the second two separately.
Then pour them together - do not stir.

- Pom-Pom's, pipe cleaners and craft glue
Tie a piece of elastic to each spider, so they bounce.

- Black Gum Drops and tooth picks

- Tooth picks and mini marshmallows

Frost with red frosting and make webs with a
black decorating tube.

Unravel this web of fun!
Everyone loves a treasure hunt, especially when it means unraveling this web of fun! For each guest, you will need a small gift or favor bag item and a long piece of yarn. Before the party, cut several pieces of yarn about 15-20 ft. long and attach a small toy to the end of each one. Hide the toys in drawers, cupboards, under chairs, etc. Slowly stretch each length of yarn around the room, wrapping
them around furniture and intertwining them with other pieces until you have used all the pieces.
This will create a massive web!

Attach the name of a guest to the end of each piece of yarn. When the children find their names they may begin to unravel the spider web. They’re sure to giggle as they get caught in this giant spider web, and they’ll definitely love the prizes at the end!

I might have to steal these ideas for Patricks b-day! It's not till July but, he is already telling me he wants a Spiderman party!
