Working Moms with kids in Day Care
Do you stay home with your child everytime they are sick?

DDs only been sick once, but I did stay home with her. We live in the city and DH works in LI. I may bring her into work if I have to or have my mom watch her.

DH and I switch off... she's usually sick for a few days so I'll take a day home with her and then he will. We don't have any family in the area to help out so we don't have a choice... I end up doing work after 5pm when DH comes home to make up my hours... and when she naps.

We do the same thing - I work from home 2 days a week, so that helps too because I can sometimes switch my days.

Fortunately for us, my ILs are retired and live nearby. So they usually watch Nate when he's sick.

So far I have stayed home the few times she was not feeling well. If she gets very sick DH and I are going to have to share the responsibility since both of us can't use all of our days.

My mom usually watches them. Now that someone has hired my mom to watch THEIR baby  , I'll be taking off or working from home. DH doesn't get paid if he doesn't work.

My husband only gets 6 sick days a year so it is usually my Mom or I that stay home with her.

We do the same thing - I work from home 2 days a week, so that helps too because I can sometimes switch my days.
Same thing here, I work from home 2 days a week and can sometimes switch the days, if not DH and I take turns.

same here...although if she is sick more than a couple days, then DH does...
last time she got sick my sis came over and watched her until DH could get home from work because I had a big interview...

My mom and MIL will be watching the baby when I go back to work (part time.) So either they or DH will stay with the baby when he's sick. I have my own bisiness, and no employees, so there's no calling in sick for me.
