Not sure how to feel...
The strangest thing ever happened last night.
I'm watching News 12 and I see a story about a guy who killed a 7 year old girl and a 59 year old limo driver in a DWI accident a long time ago. They show the picture of the limo driver and say his name and I'm thinking, why do I know this man?
Come to finally realize that it's my ex-fiance's mother's boyfriend. A really nice guy. I'm so bothered by this. I've been with DH for 5 years, married for 3. He started asking me if I felt compelled to call my ex. I said no, but I do feel sorry for his mother and I really liked her boyfriend.
How would you feel if something like this happened?

I would feel very shocked, but I wouldn't contact him. I think you are talking about the accident that happened on the Meadowbrook about a year ago.

It does, thanks. I'm not sure that I wanted to contact him. I just wish I could talk to his mom. She really is a great lady - despite the fact that her son is an a$$hole.

I wouldn't. She may have done her mourning and it would be unfair to bring up all of that hurt all over again. But that's just my opinion.

Re: Not sure how to feel...
I would let it go. It's not worth the aggravation with your DH nor is it worth the remote possiblity of your ex contacting you again.

Re: Not sure how to feel...
I'd feel badly about what happened, but I really believe that some relationships are meant to stay in the past. I think this is one of them.

Re: Not sure how to feel...
Because the accident happened so long ago I would just let it go. IMO
