OMG had NO idea it would cost me 310.00 to get my sectional clean
are there any tricks to keep upholestry clean besides covering them? I have so many pets (7) that jump and sleep on the sectional so I have to keep it cleaned, I made the HUGE mistake and washed them myself taking off the teflon or starch guard oh well live and learn. but I never knew it cost so much!!!!

Sorry that stinks.
We've taught our beagle and kitty that there animals and can't hang out on the couch.. is it too late for that.
My husbands rule is "if you can't wipe your own butt or have it covered with a diaper your not on the furniture"

LOL I like that rule, but it will never happen, too late is right, the dogs go on the couch and I have to yell to get down, ugh

My aunt's animals DESTROYED her leather couch with their paws. It get sooooo scratched up from the claws/nails.
We're a "pet-free couch" household.

Not sure if you have to do this when they're puppies but my dad used to put tin foil on the couch and the noise would scare his dog right off.
Or what about flipping the pillows/cushions when you leave the house? Then they can't sit on them

we are an animal free house but my SIL has 29 animals in her home....the leather works for them.....she used to be a vet tech so she shaVES her dogs when they need it and she clips their nails too

My mom used to put stuff on the couch like snack tables or wastepaper baskets so there was no room for the dog to get up there.
We have a BEIGE leather couch that the dogs goes on despite my protests -- we clean it once a week with leather cleaner. His nails are short so he doesn't do any damage...

We HAD leather couches nice ones too but the dogs scratched them and the cats too, so we got rid of them and got cloth and ugh that too gets dirty!!!! Im gonna try that moving the cushions trick!
